THE STORY
The Lobie Project came into existence when we stumbled across a vacant block for sale online.
The inspection featured one dead tree, one small living tree and a warning – Watch out for Nibbles the naughty goat. We braved the inspection (with the advice not to turn our backs on Nibbles) and once we took one look out over the iconic view we knew we had found something incredibly special.
Putting all four heads together we began to plan. We knew we wanted to build beautiful architectural homes, and they absolutely must make the most of the view. We worked closely with our friend Jackson at Seed Building Design to create the homes we now know and love. Taking inspiration from recent projects and much-loved architectural designs, we were able to pull together our favourite features and put them together to create 6 individual yet cohesive homes. Each of the four of us bought our own personal skills and ideas to the project, pushing each other forward and resulting in a project we are truly proud to call our own.
Jed and Hamish worked closely together linking their project management and building skills to ensure every step of the project was carefully managed and held to a high standard. Kylie used her industry experience and designed the kitchen and bathroom layouts with great attention to detail and functionality in mind. She now continues to manage the accommodation and takes a lot of pride in being a very helpful and friendly host. Taya wove her interior magic to create high end warm spaces and flawless selections, as well as curate social media content to complement the beautiful spaces.

★★★★★ Lobie Haus was the perfect summer getaway for our family to spend a weekend together. The pool was amazing in the hot weather and we were in it most of the weekend! The house was so stylish, beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The space was perfectly clean on our arrival, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the king beds were so comfortable.
Check-in and check-out were super easy with keypad entry. The host, Kylie, was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating.
We loved that we were able to bring our precious family dog along for the weekend (with an additional cleaning fee). The yard was fully fenced and secure, and the backyard space was perfect for kids and dogs to run around and have fun.
The vineyard views were absolutely gorgeous and made the whole stay feel extra special.

The pool is perfect, and having the vineyards as your view is just amazing.
